Abstract Background External auditory canal (EAC) masses can arise secondary to a multitude of ear pathologies like congenital, inflammatory, infective, or malignancy. The most common causes external are due otitis media—squamous and mucosal types, tubercular media, malignant externa, benign tumors osteomas, exostosis, pleomorphic adenoma, from the ceruminous sebaceous glands; squamous cell carcinoma rhabdomyosarcoma. management an mass will vary in each case, depending upon underlying pathology extent involvement surrounding structures. Case presentation In our case report, we report neglected foreign body that presented as EAC its management. Conclusion Hence, suggest need consider cause, whenever do not respond appropriate medical treatment with antibiotics.
